COSMO - Male Beagle Mix, 5 years old

Meet Mr. Cosmo Our dear Cosmo has had a rough life before Rez Dog Rescue rescued him! He was so terribly shy, worried about being petted, didn't know how to receive love. Cosmo is mostly blind reportedly from Juvenile Cataracts. He can see shadows, but that is about it. He is around 5 years old, and some sort of beagle mix.

Once Cosmo gets to know you and you won't hurt him he then wants to be your best friend. Cosmo is looking for a retired person or couple who want a companion to keep them company. Cosmo is ok around kids, but not little ones as they grab at him and scare and since he can not see that scares him. Cosmo does great with other dogs but not much into playing with them. Cosmo likes to go for walks once he knows his seeing eye human is going to keep him safe. Cosmo also likes a fenced back yard where he can enjoy the sun and do his business. Cosmo does not require any medication currently, but may in the future for his eyes. He responds to his name with a wagging tail and will follow your voice.

There is a small additional charge for dogs going to Canada to cover rabies vaccination or certificates needed.

There are no paid staff members at Rez Dog Rescue and all adoption donations go directly back into the dogs we rescue for food and medical expenses as most of the Pets we rescue have been, abandoned, abused, injured or are sick. RDRs only mission is to re-home the pets we rescue and give them a second chance in life that they so desperately deserve!

DUCATI - Female Pitbull, 9 years old

Ducati is a gorgeous and vivacious 9 year old girl. Don't let her age fool you, she still has plenty of playful antics left in her! She loves to prance around and showcase her beautiful pit bull smile and sparkling eyes to anyone and everyone she sees.  Just look at that face!

Ducati loves people and especially children. With everyone she meets she acts as if they are her long lost best friend and you can see her face light up whenever a child comes near.

Ducati loves to go on walks, to meet lots of people, play ball (keep away really), tug o'war, and splash about in the pool. But what she loves most is to be snuggled up on the couch with you covered with a blanket (yes even in the summer) and just relax. If you take too long to do this she will be sure to check in with you and if you still take too much time she will then just go ahead and bury herself under the blanket. This is a must see!

Ducati easily received her Canine Good Citizen at this years Pit Bulls on Parade. If you are looking for a dog that you can go and do things with, but still have your cuddle time, then Ducati is the perfect dog for you.
