The Dog-Gone Easter Egg Hunt is our annual fundraising event for Feline Friends and Old Dog Haven. It's a fun event for all ages! With help from sponsors in the community, Pet Connection Magazine presents the 5th Annual Dog-Gone Easter Egg Hunt for Charity! When: April 1, 2012 Where: Rainier Vista Park in
Lacey (see below for directions) All proceeds go to two local charities: Feline Friends and Old Dog Haven.
The Day's Activities
Doggie Fashion Show : Dress your dog up in their Easter finest! Walk the runway and compete for awesome prizes in "Big Dog" and "Little Dog" categories Vendor Booths : Browse through the vendor booths to meet local business owners and rescue groups. You will be impressed at all the local products and services offered in our community! Agility, Flyball, and Nosework Demos : Curious about these fun activities? Enjoy demos throughout the day, and ask questions of the pros. Bake Sale : Stocked with YUMMY homemade goodies, all proceeds go to the charities! Raffle : Buy tickets for amazing items donated by local companies, all proceeds go to the charities! Goodie Bags : The first 500 people get a free bag full of treats and other goodies Entrance is $3.00 per adult (kids under 12 are free) Fashion Show Sign Up is $3.00 per dog Interested in being a vendor? Doggie Easter Egg Hunts : Dogs on leash hunt for Easter Eggs! When the dog touches one of the plastic eggs with their nose, into your basket it goes. When the time is up, open all your eggs...for every sticker you find you get a prize for your pup.
