Halina lives in Maple Valley, WA with her 5 wonderful dogs: Wanda 11, Simon 10, Monte 8, Petey 4 and Jordan 3.  She spends her time writing, supporting animal nonprofits, and helping people adjust to life with their foster and rescue dogs. She's enjoying her dream job: writing for Pet Connection Magazine, and meeting local pet owners!
